Sustainability Statement
"Why I called it ‘Ecotecture’?
Since starting Ecotecture it’s been really important to go about our work as a practice and in our business operation consciously and mindfully, considering and lessening impact. Hence why I named the practice Ecotecture."
Jo Saady - Director
Our Values
We design buildings which enable people to lead better, more sustainable lives, by combining our specialisms of historic building conservation, energy efficiency and retrofit.
The practice’s business code of ethics follows the Quaker testimonies of Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship of the Earth.
We realise our values are conveyed in our work here at Ecotecture - but these values extend to our business operation and activity in the community too. So in this statement we set out these objectives as targets to measure progress against on a yearly basis - in tandem with our financial accounting and reported each New Year, looking at all aspects of our remit.
